Apple Create A New Record:
Global technology giant Apple is dusting off in India as well. Apple had a record $ 64.7 billion in revenue for the July-September quarter, driven by strong performance in a number of markets, including India. Of this, 59 per cent came from overseas sales. Net profit was $ 12.67 billion. In September, Apple launched its first online store in India.
According to research firm Canalis, Apple sold a record Eight Lacks iPhones during July-September, doubling its growth. Apple has recently started assembling the iPhone 11 in India in partnership with Foxconn and Wistron. ‘Geographically, we set records in the US, Europe and the rest of Asia Pacific in the September quarter. It was a record quarter for us in India as well. Apple CEO Tim Cook said during the announcement of the results that the newly launched online store is gaining unprecedented popularity in India.
